One Year!

This blog has now been running for a year and has made significant progress in exposing Ole Nydahl and his Diamond Way cult! Thanks to all of you who have made this possible through protests, flyering, and other ways the word has been spread. Keep up the good work!

Various Updates

There is now firm evidence that Ole Nydahl gets paid twice for every trip he makes. He is re-imbursed by the 'Diamond Way Foundation', run by himself and Caty Hartung, and yet still takes money from his cult's centres during his travels to cover 'travel expenses'. I have also been in contact with many women who have been sexually abused by Ole Nydahl or his cult's 'travelling teachers'.

I have also found a rather amusing trend of Ole Nydahl now starting to call himself 'Ole Nydahl PhD' to try and gain legitimacy , as the 'Lama' title he has been using since the 16th Karmapa's death is becoming increasingly known to be false. However, he never completed a PhD either! He dropped out and went smuggling drugs instead, for which he went to jail in 1969.

I today received a reply from the Charity Commission saying they will investigate the Diamond Way cult after recieving countless letters of complaint from people. This is great news!

Ole Nydahl attacks journalist!

An article was recently published by a Hungarian journalist who interviewed Ole Nydahl. Ole Nydahl didn't like the article, as he felt it portrayed a negative image of him, despite the fact there was nothing there he hadn't said himself. He responded by attacking the journalist in a peronal letter, accusing her of being "attractive, but mentally ill and anorexic." Unfortunately, the letter itself was also published by the journalist, exposing his tactics for all to see!

Yes Diamond way is a cult, I've had extremely painful experiences with them. It took me the larger part of a year to recover from them.

I confirm every point you made. (And well written too). I classify them as dangerous and even evil.

They sell alcohol, (without a drinks license) in the centre despite the Buddhist precept which negates the drinking of alcohol. Yet Ole recommends they go out drinking!!

I've known a few people part with their money and regret it.

Buddhism seems to be getting freely hijacked these days."

Ole Nydahl in London

Ole Nydahl, the well-known fraud and leader of the Diamond Way cult, will be in London on the 25th-26th of April. Due to his spreading of hate-speech, the Home Office is looking into getting him banned from the country. If he does however manage to make it to London, his events will be picketed. Watch this space.
